Draw volume and syringe graduations

What if my amount falls between two marks on the syringe?
The calculator compares the result with the selected model's graduations. For example, 1.83 mg at 5 mg/mL corresponds to 36.6 U-100 units. With 1-unit graduations, 36 and 37 units represent 1.8 and 1.85 mg. Neither is selected for you.
Is a 0.5 mL syringe the same as U-50?
A 0.5 mL U-100 syringe has a 50-unit capacity, but its scale is still 100 units per mL. Capacity does not rename the scale. Check both markings on the actual barrel rather than inferring its scale from the largest printed number alone.
What is the difference between U-100 and U-40 syringes?
Their unit scales differ: U-100 represents 100 units per mL and U-40 represents 40 units per mL. A volume of 0.4 mL therefore corresponds to 40 and 16 units respectively. The number of printed graduation lines can vary independently of the scale.
Can I use a tuberculin syringe instead of an insulin syringe?
